Affina Marine recently opened an Italian subsidiary company, Carbon Magic SRL which are currently the sole composite contractor to Wally Yachts. Please follow the link for the Italian Companies profile: www.carbonmagic.it. In 2008 this company constructed 4 superyachts for Wally. THe two major projects undertaken by carbon magic during this time were WY164 which will be the largest carbon fibre super yacht in the world when it's launched in 2010 and WY130 which, with it's 12 ton integral composite water balast system, is claimed will be the fastest upwind super yacht in the world. Affina's directors, Sean Riley and James Keen, are very proud to play such a major part in the construction of these unique yachts for Wally and over the years these projects have been made possible thanks to the team of world class boatbuilers they have brought together.
Along side the manufacturing of Wally Yachts Carbon Magic have also been involved in the production of Carbon components for the Ferretti Group owned, Pershing Yachts. These projects have been undertaken in Affina's new, state of the art manufacturing facility in Fano, Italy. This facility was opened in 2006 to allow Carbon Magic to fulfil the requirements of both their marine and furniture clients.
